NOTICE: From City Trash Hauler. Effective Monday, March 30th and until further notice: Items for disposal must be contained within your container. If you do not have a container, trash must be bagged. Bags cannot exceed 50 pounds. Bulk waste programs are suspended.

Health Officials ask that social activities be limited as much as possible.
New Haven works with the Franklin County Health Department to protect the general health of all residents and visitors of New Haven. The Director of this department is Angie Hittson, RN, BSN, IBCLC. Mrs. Hittson is a native of Hermann, so she is familiar with the New Haven area. After spending 14 years as a nurse, she joined the Franklin County Health Department in 2007. She has been the Director since 2013. She has been through a number of outbreaks in the past, including the most recent case of Hep A, plus the 2009 H1N1 Pandemic.
